The women selected for analysis are important figures in Islam and Christianity. There are many lessons that can be taken from their lives and will inspire one to take them as role models. The Holy Qur’an refers to some of them as mentors for the believers, both for men and for women.
The study is divided into five sections: (1) Maryam (a), (2) Asiyah (a), (3) Bilqis (a), (4) Yukabed (a) and her brave daughter Kulthum (a), and (5) Sarah (a). These women are studied from the Qur’an and the Bible, mentioning the related verses and a detailed discussion of each verse from the Qur’an. In the end of each segment there is a brief comparison of the Qur’an and the Bible regarding that particular woman.
